"There is no other choice," he thought as he gazed at the loaded gun. He picked it up knowing that this was the only way he could be free from her.
"Not bad," Rick mumbled to himself as he finished writing "Beyond the Pages" his latest short story. He had dreams of becoming a writer when he was older. Either that or an English professor either way he would be doing something he loved. Rick was sitting at a table near a window. The library was a great place for Rick to go to write. It was always quiet and peaceful, and if he ever got stuck he could read the greats and see if he can draw inspiration from their works.
I should try to get this one published. He thought to himself. Rick began day-dreaming of his future as a famous writer. He soon became lost in thought and completely oblivious to the outside world.

Hazelnut eyes looked around the semi-empty library in search of the perfect model. Now the female had been doing this for over an hour, but never able to find someone perfect enough to fit her description as the perfect person. She wore the Nikon digital camera around her neck as she smiled to herself happily. Eyes darted in her direction, both of lust and envy but it really didn't bother the female in any way. Kristen loved how people stared at her with such hateful eyes that it was almost amusing. Snapping a few pictures of those who were reading and writing caused a slow smirk to form upon her lips.
Wish this was more...exciting. She thought to herself as she paced slowly through the room. It seemed to be getting crowded by the minute, but she honestly didn't mind at all. Her eyes fell upon a male whom seemed to be in his own little world. A giggle, soft and sweet, erupted from the tip of her tongue. This time she thought about putting the flash on so that maybe Kristen could bring him back down to earth. She sat in front of him and snapped the quick photo as the bright light practically covered the room like thunder.
"Hey are you back from La-La land?" She put on her sweet act as she smiled at him gently. Kristen made a small wave to a few people that she had met before she had entered the library. Looking at the boy's eyes she found them to be...pretty in a way. She couldn't but to stare at him like she was completely crazy. Running her fingers through her hair, her lips parted briefly as she spoke. "My name is Kristen, by the way and sorry about the surprise attack there." She really was sorry for doing that because she knew by experience that the light was practically blinding.

In his mind he was entering his luxurious Chicago apartment after a long day at a book signing at a local bookstore. Suddenly a blinding flash brought him back to reality. He rubbed his eyes trying to bring them back into focus. All Rick saw were colored polka dots and a vague outline of a girl. He blinked a few times and he could see clearly again.
"Now I am," he said irritated. That comment was completely out of character for him but the sudden attack got the better of his calm and quiet demeanor. He grabbed his notebook and slid it in between two others.
What was that all about? he thought as he looked back up at her. Rick blushed when he saw her staring at him. That surprised him more then the flash of the camera.
"Uh...I'm Rick. Don't worry about it. I needed to be brought back to reality," he said with a laugh.

She was a bit glad that he wasn't angry, though there was a hint of irration in the tone of his voice. Possibly he hoped that she didn't catch that, but nonetheless let it pass like the breeze. Settling the camera gently on the table she sat in the chair that was across from him. It wasn't much of a surprise that she didn't ask whether the seat was taken or not; and if it was, then oh well too bad for that person. It was a new start of school and Kristen wasn't in the mood to act like little miss queen bee at the moment. Once the school year gets a move on then she would show her true self to this god forsaken school. Finally after what seemed like almost three hours (in reality it was about two minutes) she diverted her eyes to something else, like the notebook it smoothly hide away between the others.
"Sorry, it must be strange to be stared at by some lunatic, huh?" She asked the question in a brisk giggly tone. Kristen stopped herself briefly as she sighed to herself, but smiling at him at least. She hated acting like some type of prep, preppiness was a huge no-no on her list of what I really hate about the world. She wasn't those types of girls that was all me-against-the-world, it was just like one of those annoying little ticks that you could never get rid of. Though there was a possible chance that Kristen, herself, was a huge tick on many peoples list. "You have pretty eyes." These words escaped her lips as though it was nothing. A simple compliment that did have a real huge meaning to it whatsoever. Seriouly, she got those all the time whether it was about her hair, clothes, makeup, or just all of the above.
"Hey, What grade are you in?" Kristen wasn't too good with matching the names with the faces, its like she had some type of mental malfunction when she was born. Usually she just says that her mother dropped her on her head one too many times (which is possibly what happened). She could feel a small glares from passbyers on her back, but shook it off with nosense of caring. It was always like this in Los Angeles, some little girl has a problem with you but don't even of the sense or courage to come up to you and say it to your face. Thats how Kristen saw it and then it was funny how she supposely has all these friends, but all their doing is to see who is hot enough to get into their pants. She may be more or less insane in the membrane just not a complete retard.

"No not at all. Watching people is an important aspect of life. Just gotta make sure that we don't waste life away observing. It's important to live life like there's no tomorrow," he said with a smile. Rick got the impression that she was one of those preppy-girls but he didn't hate her for it. He always thought that just because someone was a nerd, goth, prep, or jock it didn't mean that they weren't anything else.
"Thank you," he said blushing slightly. Rick was happy to hear the compliment. He liked his eyes. The eyes were the most important part of the body because they are the eyes into the soul.
Rick noticed people shooting Kristen dirty looks. He felt bad for her. People could be so horrible sometimes. Forgiveness is important but people seem to prefer revenge. It was terrible, he hoped to someday at least change a few people's opinions through his writing.
"I'm a High School Senior. You?" he asked her. Rick wanted to know more about her. There was something about her that intrigued him.

"Ha. Same here. I recently just moved here from LA so I'm just trying to adapt to sceneries and so on." She played with the camera happily though still missing her own hometown. It was that Daytona was a horrible place to be, but she has been unable to contact anyone because of her mother. If only she wasn't some druggie maybe she wouldn't even be in this place anyways. "It's not bad here. Could of been worst." The words slipped through her lips, but they were mostly directed to herself than to Rick. Kristen played with the blond and blue highlighted hair of hers. It was obvious that she had an addiction to dyeing her hair multicolors. One of these days she's going to come back looking like a friggin skittle.
She glanced downward briefly wondering what he was it that he was writing earlier. It seemed like a secret that she shouldn't be digging her nose into, but the Lord knows that's exactly what she was going to do. "What was that you were writing there?" She asked out of pure curiosity. It wasn't here fault that she had so happened to see something that was possibly interesting. She leaned forward as the innocences of what was left of her glistened brightly.
OOC|| Gomen. I'm out of muse. Next one would be better once I finish my other half of the subway.

"It's a small world. Just moved here from the windy city," he told her. It was nice to meet someone else that had just moved here.
"Yeah," he said softly. Daytona Beach could have been worse but sometimes it didn't feel like it. Everyone Rick's ever known, besides his family, is in Chicago. Since he moved here Rick felt isolated from the rest of the world and retreated into his writing to take his mind off of it.
He smiled as she played with her hair. Maybe she is just a valley girl. Kristen sure acts like it.
"Oh um..just a short story I've been working on. It's nothing more then a rough draft right now though," he said. No one had really taken any interest in his writing before. Well, that wasn't entirely true. His mom had read almost everything he had ever written. Rick valued her opinion on his writing. She had a good eye and would have made a great editor.
((OOC: I know what you mean. My creativity is totally drained after writing a story for English. Which was the one Rick was writing. And working on my gf's Valentine's Day present. I feel totally spent.))

"Ooh. Chicago, huh? Been there a few times when I was traveling with my mother when she went away on her jobs." It wasn't like she was going to give her mother's name to some guy. She wasn't sure exactly what would happen if she did, maybe ten billion cameras would come out of no where and then what? Probably another move, how wasteful. Her lips parted as she continued though, "Being a dancer in plays was fun for her, I guess, but the modeling was really what caught my eye." And a lot of other things caught her eye as well, she drew the thought from her head as she listened carefully to what he was saying to her.
Sometimes it did see a bit impossible for Kristen to seem like one of those nice girls for someone with the worst attitude in the history of the pencil. It wasn't like she was always a royal pain in the butt all the time, but she had her ways of getting on people's backs when she wanted to. Her sidekick began vibrating in her pocket as she looked at the name. Ugh. Work. Even though she just loved taking pictures of old ladies in their birthday suits, Kristen really wanted to avoid having to do anything for a while. Sorry babe. Got other affairs, catch ya later. She text them in less than three seconds before she slid it back into her pocket.
When he told her about the writing that he was doing her expression appeared to be quite interested even if part of her didn't see what was so great about writing a few words here or there. It actually looked pretty easy from her point of view, even though all her last writings were pretty crappy for the lack of muse she has been having. It was funny how she could so easily critize someone's passion, but yet feel offended when it was about her own. Anyone could take a few pictures? Just a click of a button? It wasn't all easy peasy. If there is no deep meaning or beauty to a photo then it would count as completely pointless.
She stood quiet for the time being wonder what words would echo from her lips this time. Hopefully it would probably be something that would continue to show her good side even with all the harsh glares and whispers that was going around. Already rumors have been spread and yet so many necks to break in a single semester.

"Yeah. I'm hoping to move back after I finish school. I just love it there. Sometimes I'd skip school just to go and see a show downtown," his eyes lit up as he talked about his hometown. Rick saw her hands move under the table but didn't realize that she was texting. He could be pretty clueless sometimes. Rick wasn't an idiot, in fact he was pretty clever, but he had trouble picking up on the subtleties of human behavior.
Rick felt a little uncomfortable with all the eyes glancing in his direction, even though he knew that they were looking at Kristen. All through school in Chicago he had been for the most part ignored, besides his small circle of friends. He wondered if the kids at this school would be as vicious as the others.
She just used me to boost her English grade so she could stay on the cheer squad. Jackie never really cared about me. Here's hoping that I can avoid humiliation here.
Rick was out of things to talk about. He wasn't expecting to run into anyone while doing a bit of writing in the library. Suddenly, he remembered the blinding flash that happened before they met.
"So, your interested in photography?" he half asked her.
